What is R100?
R100 (Reaching 100%) is the Scottish Government's programme to improve broadband access across Scotland, particularly in rural and harder-to-reach areas.
Its voucher scheme provides up to £5,000 towards a faster broadband connection, covering the direct installation costs of an eligible connection delivered by a registered supplier.
The funding is available to homes and businesses with broadband speeds below 30 Mbps and no planned superfast upgrade through the R100 programme or commercial providers.
New applications close on 20 November 2026, although approved installations can take place after this date.
